1 bedroom self contained bungalow. The property is attached to our home but is independent and accessed only by the guests. No facilities are shared. The living room has a wood burning stove, a full HD projector and retro arcade console. Outside decking is private to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Kitchen comes fully equipped with a 5 hob electric cooker, oven, fridge freezer as well as a microwave. Skirinish Farm cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard. Great for a romantic getaway, the cottage is at the end of a private road, situated close to the sea on a private peninsula. Relax in the cottage or use it as a base to explore the many attractions on Skye. Close to the main village of Portree and the harbour at Uig with access to the Outer Hebrides the cottage is perfectly situated. The cottage has good WIFI, perfect for WFH. Warm and cosy in winter as well as summer.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Small but well formed- the pod is 3 meters x 4.8 meters. Beautiful setting by the sea. 10 minute drive from Portree. Close to local bus route. Plenty of local wildlife to sit and observe. Within walking distance of local hotel, for evening meals or drinks at the bar. Outside area with seating provided to enjoy. We now have WiFi available to guests. Creag an Loch is our one bedroom house offering comfortable accommodation for 2 people. Kingsburgh is a gorgeous and peaceful location, only 8 miles from Portree. Hope you love the view as much as we do! Our house is located down a private road on our Croft - I would highly recommend a 4 wheel drive car if travelling in the winter months.
