Our little family run luxury glamping pod has that 'close to nature' feel but with all the home comforts you need for a wee break away. Whether it be a few days exploring or just a much needed rest, you can enjoy the Scottish elements by day and cosy in at night with the underfloor heating toasting your feet. Our glamping pod is situated at the end of our garden. We will respect your privacy but you might get the odd hello from the neighbouring sheep and children may be playing in the garden.

The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Make sure you visit the newly built bird hide by the pond opposite the shop. There is a village shop and post office a few doors down, plus an excellent butchers behind The Tigh an Truish pub.

Maida's cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ford, close to Loch Ederline. There is a private driveway to the cottage with a farm gate to keep the sheep on the hill. There is ample parking and a gated/fenced private garden. Although on the edge of the village, Maida's cottage feels remote with a rather stunning backdrop. There are many hills to walk. There is no TV or WiFi, this is a cosy getaway from hectic lives so sit back and enjoy the log fire with a good book.
