Its a 10 minute drive into Durham City with a Castle, Cathedral, University, market, shops, cinema, bowling, and rowing boats for hire on the stunning river.

The Deer Lodge is one of three nearly identical lodges set in a quiet wooded corner of our 20 acre estate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There are no roads bordering the guest areas so expect a quiet and peaceful stay, surrounded by nature and away from it all! The lodge has no cooking facilities but has a fridge with icebox as well as a selection of tea & coffee. We have a cosy indoor BBQ hut available to book for the evening with all cooking tools & charcoal provided.

There is ample parking next to your lodge, and no Electric car charging on site currently.
