The Wee Hoosie

The Wee Hoosie offers you comfortable and cozy accommodation on a self-catering basis. The studio has a corner kitchen equipped with a full size cooker and fridge. There is an en-suite showerroom. The sun rises to the front and sets to the back, making this a light and bright space and with the wee garden with a patio to the rear you can enjoy a tiny home from home. There is private parking which affords more privacy. The studio is located in the garden of our home, we are on hand if required.

Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. The Bothy has been hand built, with sheep wool insulation and oak framed double glazed windows and doors. Am Fuaran Isle of Iona Am Fuaran is situated in Iona Village, beside the Argyll Hotel. Long ago Islanders had Summer houses where people stayed during the holiday season to allow guests to stay in their main residence. Am Fuaran was such a building which has had various tenants over the last few decades. It makes an ideal Summer Bothy. It is a tin building with a concrete floor and although not luxurious it is cosy. It is the perfect private space for a single person or couple.

Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation.

Starchmill Holiday Pod (Bruichladdich)

The Bruichladdich Pod sleeps up to 2 people, consisting of one bedroom with double bed, a toilet/shower room and a living area with double sofa bed. It also has a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and table with 4 chairs. The pod is accessed through large patio doors which are perfect for enjoying the panoramic view. There is a large decking area in front with a picnic bench to enjoy dining al fresco.
