Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

Come, stay and enjoy our farmhouse at Riverbend. Located in the center of several hundred acres of longleaf pines and mixed hardwoods, sloping down to the banks of the Perdido River. Some of our favorite activities include hiking and biking on a labyrinth of well-marked roads and trails, sporting clays, excellent birding opportunities and kayaking or canoeing on the pristine Perdido River. The remote natural setting on our stretch of the river offers our most valuable asset, PRIVACY.

Cattle grazing nearby, outdoor seating areas, and a walking path along Bohemian Hall Road allows you to enjoy the quiet of being in the country, but minutes away from a variety of Baldwin and Mobile County activities. You can have it all! Rural atmosphere yet 15 minutes from the heart of downtown Fairhope, Mobile Bay, or Fish River. Plenty of room to park your boat and less than ten minutes from multiple boat launches. We are 40 minutes to gulf shores beaches. Enjoy everything downtown Fairhope has to offer or settle in with the wood- burning fireplace. We are a small beef cattle operation so you will see tractors, cows, and horses. The Cottage is located on Seales Farm- a working cattle farm with views of pastures, grazing horses and some unusual sounds (guineas and lowing cattle.) This pastoral and rustic setting offers solitude- NO TV and NO WiFi . - There is a private outdoor seating area with a great view. We are a little more than an hour from Pensacola Beach, Fl. which boasts historical Fort Pickens and 75 miles from Gulf Shores, AL. Wind Creek Casino just 20 minutes away.
