Discover Vienna's historic old town on a fun and comprehensive walking tour with me. We leave the big tour groups behind and explore the city in our own small team. Let's make it interactive - there are no dumb questions ;)
We start on the banks of the Danube canal to find out why the Romans decided to settled down here of all places. A short walk later we marvel at the impressive tower of St. Stephen's Cathedral while I tell you about its hidden symbolism of numbers. Further highlights on the way include Mozart's apartment, the old Greek quarter, romantic hidden alleys and courtyards, the Spanish Riding School as well as an almost real da Vinci. Upon arrival at the vast Hofburg Palace complex we will finally talk about the rise of the mightiest family in the history of Europe: the Habsburgs.
But Vienna's history doesn't stop with the fall of the Habsburgs: where did Hitler speak in front of 200,000 cheering Austrians? And what makes modern-day Vienna the city with the highest standard of living worldwide?
While taking in the beauty of the city I will keep you entertained with the best stories about its past and present - plus some questionable jokes!
Keep in mind that we finish at Albertinaplatz, not where we met at the beginning.
All tours are held in English.
Pasea entre delicias vienesas
Looking for a fun and tasty experience in Vienna? You've just found it!
This Vienna food tour will take you on a culinary adventure through the city, from cafes to street stalls to upscale dining.
First up, because it would be rude of us not to offer you a coffee and breakfast before getting started. Instead of going to one of the famous Viennese coffee houses, where mainly tourists wait in line, we will head to one of the few cafes that locals visit in the 1st district.
Then, we’ll head into a lively part of the city where most tourists would never think to go. It’s here that we’ll enjoy our first lunch (yes, there will be multiple lunches!), prepared by a renowned Viennese chef.
Next stop is a bustling, vibrant local market for our second lunch.
Be sure to save some room, though, because next we’ll discover where the locals go for the best coffee in the city. You’ll graze on some sweet and savory delights, hand-picked by your guide.
This tour is sure to make you fall in love not just with Viennese food, but with Vienna’s culture. You’ll learn the locals’ secret to “gemütlichkeit” and understand why Vienna is placed so high in the “most liveable city” rankings.
Other things to note
The tour will take about 5 hours. We provide a very authentic tour that is personable, entertaining, and full of interesting stories about Vienna.
Descubre Hallstatt con un fotógrafo
Together we will discover and explore Hallstatt, probably the most photogenic mountain gem in the Austrian Alps. I was born and raised in this region and I'm quite confident to say that I know every single corner of this village ;)
The tour will take at least about 2 hours. We will cover the obvious "touristy" postcard photo spots, but I will also show you some hidden hideaways.
I will take pictures and provide between 20-30 edited HI-RES pictures on the same day the tour takes place via Dropbox link.
PLEASE NOTE:
I'm a licensed tourist guide (certified in accordance with the stipulations of Europen Norm EN 15565:2008) AND photographer, so you get the best of both worlds - a well structured tour about the history & culture of Hallstatt, plus professional pictures.
If there is no availibility for the day you want to visit Hallstatt, please get in conctact with me, maybe we can arrange an alternative starting time.
Also if you are looking for a proposals/pre-wedding/engagement shooting, just send me a message, I do these kind of shoots on a regular basis and know the best spots for these kind of photos
Other things to note
Hallstatt is a really small village, so you will definitely will see all parts of it in these approx. two hours tour :)
Viena, ciudad de espías
Join a tour exploring the long and dark history of spies in Vienna. We will explore the heyday of international intelligence services of the cold war and dive into history to lern about the scandals that shook imperial Vienna on the brink of the great war. How is the Viennese coffee house tradition linked to a spy and how did the Romans encode their messages?
Over 2 hours we’ll untangle the web of international diplomacy, spies and informants who didn’t always do it for ideological reasons but sometimes just to survive. Retracing bold plans to be one step ahead of the enemy and witnessing personal tragedies that are still part of the game.
We learn why Vienna is still the secret capital of espionage while walking trough Viennas imperial heritage. We’ll find signs hidden in plain sight telling us the story of the darkest days in our nations history.

Take a break from the imperial grandeur of Vienna's historic old town and discover its secret alleyways and hidden squares instead. We leave the busy main roads behind us and and will find an abundance of quaint little corners that are otherwise easily missed. Hidden passageways used as shortcuts by the locals will take us into picturesque courtyards and tranquil side streets.
This tour is about oddities, quirky stories of the city's past and the beauty of Vienna beyond the main attractions. We start on its most Italian "piazza" and will amongst others marvel at some fine Baroque illusional painting, visit the place where Mozart got a kick in his gifted backside and stroll through the former Jewish heart of Vienna. We look at the city's most famous doorway and discover Beethoven's neighborhood. Finally, the "Muse who's had it" will introduce us to Vienna's scientific heart and academic hall of fame. Always walking the most charming alleys along the way we'll stay off the big tourist tracks.
The tour ends at the main university of Vienna.
All tours are held in English.

We will ride effortlessly on the comfort of top-quality E-bikes through the lovely green areas of Salzburg to the original Trapp family home, then ride by the Salzach River and horse pastures to the amazing Hellbrunn Palace and Gardens, where the film gazebo is located. We will ride down a lovely breathtaking nature Allee, lined by huge old oak trees, used only for horses, bikes and pedestrians, where we will see the palace that was the film location for the Trapp home. We will ride mostly along the flat Salzburg valley floor by pastures & several 400-year-old palaces to then see the Leopoldskron Palace, which is where all the terrace scenes were filmed behind the Trapp home and where the pond is located where Maria & the children fell from the boat. We will then ride to the Nonnberg Abbey, which is where the outside of the Abbey scenes were filmed and where the real Maria & Georg were married. We will then tour the remaining filming sites in the old town including seeing the oldest monastery north of the Alps, St. Peter's. There we will see its cemetery, which was the inspiration for the cemetery in the film. You will get a great overview of all the best sites and historical landmarks in Salzburg's old city and surrounding countryside! In case of inclement weather when it is too cold or rainy to ride, we can shift over to a bus & walking version of my tour, using umbrellas.
