El Parque Nacional Dibru Saikhowa es uno de esos lugares que cuenta con una rica colección de flora y fauna, muchos de ellos en peligro de extinción. Es uno de los pocos sitios protegidos que quedan en la zona de aves endémicas de las llanuras de Assamés. El Parque Nacional Dibru Saikhowa es un parque nacional de la isla fluvial y uno de los 19 puntos de interés del mundo. Este parque nacional está situado a 12 km al norte de Tinsukia en Assam. De las siete partes del parque, una es un humedal y el resto está cubierto principalmente de pastizales y bosque denso. La vida animal que se puede ver en su hábitat natural incluye el tigre real de Bengala, los gibones hoolock y los leopards. También alberga algunas especies de rango restringido, como el pato de madera de ala blanca, el flor de bengala, la cortina adjunta menor, el pelícano de lona manchada, la garganta blanca, el águila de pescado de Pallas, Swamp Partridge, la Babbler de Jerdon, el perrito de crisol negro y el Strated Grassbird. Marsh Babbler, Swamp Prinia y Yellow Weaver. No hay carreteras y, por lo tanto, no hay safari en la selva ni paseos en elefante para vagar por el parque, por lo que solo puedes explorar el parque haciendo senderismo, aunque hay servicio de barco disponible que te puede llevar a varios lugares.
