Please NOTE - the Independence Pass closes roughly dec-may per weather forecast. Check CDOT for road conditions and expect slow traffic and very quiet vibes in spring and winter seasons.

Caddo River Public Access nearby. Kayaks and canoes with put-in and pick-up available for extra fee. 15-30 minute access to five lakes and three floatable rivers. 30 minutes to casino, track, and downtown Hot Springs. 45 minutes to Diamond Mine. Pool and hot tub on site. Float trips, summer or fall getaway, and even a winter retreat. Enjoy whimsical rooms and a rushing creek with a deck for viewing. Cozy, lush rooms with Croft beds, and a large communal kitchen table. We live in the property.

1 minute walk to the lift. Private on-site parking. Cozy Studio room is on the ground floor of the historic Bavarian Alpine style Brownell Chalet that has 3 other rental units. The Studio has a private entrance with view of the slopes, Queen bed, WiFi, smart/DirecTv, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster oven, microwave, shower. Walk to shops and restaurants. Cid’s Mnt Market and new ice rink across the street. Laundry facilities on request when available.

Grandview Acres Bunkhouse

Grandview Acres guests are blessed with county atmosphere AND city convenience. Located 25 miles south of Stuttgart, just outside DeWitt city limits, the Bunkhouse was designed with hunters in mind. With 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, 14 guests can enjoy a large living room, kitchenette, outdoor pavilion w/ fireplace, game cleaning station, kennels, boot room, covered shed, huge gravel parking area on 35 acres. Plenty of space to enjoy good company and relax before the next hunt.

Queen Room w/ shared deck - 10

Enjoy 3 acres of peace and quiet just 2 miles from the Kit Carson National forest and 5 minutes from Taos Plaza. This is an historic property close to nature. We aim to provide quiet, calming, and meditative rooms used mainly for sleeping. Please note, there is no on-site staff. There are no indoor common areas, no microwaves, and no TVs in the rooms. The pool area is reserved for Retreat Rentals, but we hope you will enjoy your room, the fire pit, and the grounds.

Roots Retreat - The Olive

The Olive cabin is inspired by the olive tree, providing a serene and inviting atmosphere enhanced by comfort and timeless beauty of natural tones. You will feel like you have stepped in to a boutique style room in the mediterranean. The queen size bed is dressed in layers of soft neutral-tone for a calm & relaxing stay. You can sit on the covered deck in one of our comfy rockers and see the pool and our fully equipped guest center called The Station.

Labby's Homestead Keepers Quarters

Our Keeper’s Quarters suite is on the main level of our Barndo. This suite offers 2 King bedrooms (with the option of a pullout couch upon request to sleep an additional 2), a full kitchen and dining area and living room area with a 58-in Smart TV already connected to free secure Wi-Fi. Your private bathroom features a large 4x6 shower and a single vanity setup. There is access directly to the main level back deck with your own spacious seating.
