Modern, light & airy one bedroom apartment, upstairs with the trees and sun. High ceilings, hardwood floors, quartz counter tops and a bar that seats four. Cal King size bed and a rollaway twin in the closet. You will feel like you're in your own private world. It's a pretty special place. And, for me, B & B stands for bed & breakfast. So I make sure you have something to eat in the morning. I can be flexible with check in and check out, if I don't have guests back to back. :-)

Chic & Comfortable in a Walkable Neighborhood

Located in what locals call Northtown, our Arcata home is a perfectly situated home base. You will find several eateries, cafes and a natural food grocery store all within a two block walk. You can access the two bridges over to the Cal Poly Humboldt campus a few blocks away and just beyond campus is the Arcata Community Forest with towering redwoods. Downtown Arcata is just a seven minute walk down the hill where you will find more restaurants and unique shops on the plaza.

Just two blocks from the Plaza and in close walking distance (5 minutes or less) to the best farmers' market, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, a creperie, an excellent independent movie theater, an art store, record and book stores, and within a 10-15 minute walk to Redwood Park and the Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary. Equipped to host just two optimally, but up to four guests — it has a queen bed in the snug bedroom, and a double (full-size) sofa bed in the living area. Our garage makeover project created a home with a small footprint but big on style. Blocks to the Arcata Plaza, near shopping, dining & bars.
