We are an accessible, family friendly, well-stocked hideaway in the country that has super quick access to all restaurants / shopping and other city amenities. If you need a date that is blocked or a short stay, please ask. We sometimes block dates for repeat guests and friends that may change. Tiny house is on site to rent for extra guests when available.

The Purple House has a unique and artsy feel that will give you a one of a kind stay. From its crazy design to bold colors, you will feel you are in your happy place. The house offers a 500 square foot master bedroom with a living area, kitchen space/mini refrigerator, fireplace, a loft, and a large bathroom/shower. There are 2 other bedrooms with full baths. The outdoor area includes a firepit and tables as well as a Barbecue grill. All surrounded by a huge deck and beautiful landscaping.

Welcome to your home away from home! 🌲 This beautiful, recently built duplex is on Moore Ave, only 3 blocks from CHI St. Luke’s Hospital and about 1/2 a mile from downtown Lufkin. The home is open concept and features two cozy bedrooms, small stylish kitchen and modern bathroom, perfect for traveling nurses, hospital visitors, a small family, couples or solo travelers. Nestled in the heart of Lufkin, you'll enjoy easy access to local downtown attractions, dining and outdoor activities.

Mamaw's House in the woods! 3/2 with fireplace.

Staying here is like a visiting your Mamaw's house. It's simple, old fashioned decor is family friendly. The big front porch is a perfect place to sit with your coffee and watch the birds and butterflies, which are plentiful. Located adjacent to the Davy Crockett National Forest, we also have many deer and other critters in the woods behind the house. There are no visible neighbors, access is by a dirt road. Star gazing here is amazing! It's also only 30 minutes to either Crockett or Lufkin.

Windmillhill, Efficiency apt.

A little heaven , tucked away at the back of 3 acres at back of our property. Cal and Carolyns little efficiency apt stays booked almost year round. Exceptionally clean and has every thing you need for a short weekend or an extended stay. Eff has full size kitchen and washer and dryer. It has two seating areas outside, one is covered and one under the stars and ambience lights around firepit. There is two grills provided, one gas and one charcoal to suit you. This apt has code pad entrance

Quiet country setting nestled in the trees. Enjoy your stay in our 2018 modern cabin on 30 acres in the piney woods. Sip your favorite beverage rocking on the enormous porch while your steaks are cooking on the grill. At night you can gather around the lower fire pit and stargaze. It is unlikely you will encounter anyone unless you venture out for walk down to one of the neighboring farms. The cottage has super high speed internet. Make video calls without buffering.

Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. Peach Door Cottage

Escape from the city! The Pink Door is a cozy guest house located in the Pineywoods of East Texas. The Guest Haus is the upstairs sister to our Carriage House. Along with great views, we have a country feel only 6 miles from town. We are located near Lufkin, Nacogdoches, and Lake Sam Rayburn. Enjoy the stocked pond, fire pit, grill, and gazebo. Meet our ducks Dilly and Dally as enjoy feeding the turtles and fish. Relax and enjoy all this area has to offer.

Private Cozy Cottage with full kitchen, bathroom, W/D in unit, living area, fenced in back porch & grill. Cottage is in city of Lufkin and close to shopping, dinning, medical facilities and churches. Great location close enough to everything. This is a separate Guest House on same property with our home. You have complete privacy. If you need dates that are blocked, or shorter stays please ask. We block dates for repeat Guest, Family, Friends.
