Room 1 - The Madison Room

The Madison Room (#1) is located within the main home, on the second floor. Furnished with a king bed, tv, comfy chairs, and federal-style desk, this room has all you need for a quiet getaway. The full bath has an impressively large mirror and standing glass shower. This room is on the back half of our home, overlooking the private patio and evening sun. Be sure to inquire about our complimentary breakfast when you book your stay! Furniture and artwork is subject to change as we replace items.

Green & Affordable: Blue Ridge Room near Downtown

Blue Ridge Room: A peaceful, eco-friendly queen room at Fairhaven Guesthouse. We are a "Certified Green Guesthouse" powered by solar, offering a budget-friendly stay only a mile from the Downtown Mall. Enjoy a DIY organic breakfast featuring local eggs, artisan bread, and fair-trade coffee. Ideally located for visiting UVa and Monticello, our home provides a sustainable, affordable base. Access a full kitchen, screened porch, and shared bathroom. Your green home away from home!

Room 3 - The Library Loft

One of our guests favorite rooms, the Library Loft features stunning views down Main Street, while overlooking our private back patio. A king size bed and tv are located upstairs in the loft, along with a half bath. The main floor of the room features a sleeper sofa with queen bed, and a full bathroom with a standing glass shower. Original beams and hardwood floors warm the space with a cozy atmosphere. Inquire about our complimentary breakfast when you book your stay!

Room 9 - Monroe

Located on the second story of our adjoining townhomes, Room Nine, the Monroe Room, is furnished with a queen bed, desk, reading chair, and dresser. Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay. The bathroom is complete with standing glass shower. The original 1800’s fireplace is not for guest use, but makes for a beautiful accent to the room. Be sure to inquire about our complimentary breakfast when you book your stay!

Lafayette Inn & Restaurant- Washington Suite

Charming first floor suite. Sitting room on the front side and a separate bedroom in the back. A queen size bed, broad plank floors and a private bathroom with a stand up shower make up this suite. Heating and air conditioning, a small refrigerator, and a private in-room TV. Full breakfast included for Inn guests. For room guests we offer a special dinner option with ADVANCED reservation- 5pm-7pm seating. OpenTable "Diner's Choice"

Room 2 - The Meriwether

Located on the second story of the main home, The Meriwether offers a king size bed, claw foot tub & standing glass shower, writing desk, and your own private balcony! Exposed brick adds a historic charm to compliment the modern amenities. Enjoy a relaxing evening overlooking our private patio, or take a stroll downtown from our convenient location. Located on the 3rd floor of our Main Building, the Poet’s Loft boasts a full kitchen, separate bedroom with king bed, and private bathroom. Formerly the living quarters for our Innkeeper, this apartment has been renovated and reimagined as a home away from home for our guests. Enjoy a meal or play cards at the dining table, cuddle up with a book in the reading nook, or get some work done at the well lit workspace.

Lafayette Inn & Restaurant - Wilson Suite

Cozy & quaint, second floor "loft" type room. Broad rustic hardwood planked floors. Small sitting area, queen size bed, and private bathroom make up this suite. Heating and air conditioning, private in room TV. Full breakfast included for Inn guests . For room guests we offer a special dinner option with ADVANCED reservation. Typical seating time is 5pm-7pm.
