The Forge, Adstock/Addington

The Forge is situated within the garden courtyard of the family home. The site was originally part of a stud farm, with the main house belonging to the manager and the Forge accommodated stallions and their mares. The property is independent from the main house with heating supplied from the separate boiler house, comprises a wonderful large beamed double bedroom with en-suite and a fine small kitchen/dining and living area which can accommodate two additional truckle beds on request.

Converted stables, set within a private garden, and situated in a very quiet, pretty hamlet. Perfect location for Addington Equestrian Centre (walking distance), Silverstone Race Circuit, Stowe, Waddesdon Manor, Claydon House and Bletchley Park. Just a 15 minute drive to Steeple Claydon, and within easy reach of Bicester Village Shopping Outlet and Milton Keynes. Good Wifi speed (80mbps). Free parking on drive (sorry, no horse boxes).

They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake. Surrounded by stunning landscape and reflecting the trees and nature around them, the Mirror Houses offer a peaceful and idyllic retreat from city life.

Our house is a 17th century cottage set within an Idyllic estate village. Perfect for anyone attending Silverstone or Addington Equestrian events. The cottage is very spacious and is cosy, clean and has very comfortable beds. The lovely garden has a great space for outdoor dining with table and chairs. Set in the countryside for lovely walks.
