There is a beautiful walk around the river blackwater just minutes from the cabin with falls and old bridges. Riverside Cabin with large garden

There is a large garden to enjoy with fishing rights on the Blackwater River which borders the property. There is one double bed, and one small double sofa bed. If you require the sofa bed please let us know in advance and we will provide bedding for you. There is also a large bathroom with electric shower, a kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, toaster, single hob and kettle. A television and dvd player with dvds. (no netflix etc) There is no WiFi in the cabin, but good mobile signal.

An ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful walks and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The Cottage was once used as the horse stables that served the local estate. It has been tastefully renovated to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Cosy bungalow in nice wee village; shops and train/bus routes. The Ground floor is included in this listing; upstairs is kept for storage. One double bed only, the listing says one bed in lounge, only sofas but I can’t correct this… There is a covered deck out the back door, great for sitting out in the rain! Good base for access to rest of NW Scotland; on the edge of the NC500, 14 miles from Inverness. Please read the house manual; note this is a quiet street and not a party house..

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

The nearest shop, restaurant and bus service is 2 miles away in Strathpeffer.

Upstairs you’ll find a double bedroom with tv and adjacent shower room. You have sole use of all facilities during your stay.
