The old workshop is perfectly located for exploring the cardigan bay coastline, or the Cambrian mountains (Newquay beach is 13 miles away, and Lampeter town 6 miles away). There is also a mill pond and 180 acres of private land to access freely from your doorstep. There are no main roads in sight and the peacefulness and lack of noise is bliss. In an enviable position just a 5 minute walk from a sandy beach, Ellesmere is a terraced house in New Quay. Our family bought the house in 1963, and three generations have enjoyed holidays here, escaping from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The house is comfortable and homely rather than boutique. Perfect if you want to get fit as it is up a steep hill, but within walking distance of New Quay's beaches, shops and eating places, it is also a 5 minute walk to the Ceredigion Coastal Path.

A crogloft is a traditional Welsh mezzanine, tucked away in the eves. Somewhere to quiet retreat to. Gwarcwm's Crog Loft is at the heart of the home, an old farmhouse beautifully restored. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The house is attached to a small field that slopes steeply down to a river at the bottom. We've recently finished building a sauna next to the river and installed a wood-burning hot tub, making this a perfect place to wind down when the day's adventuring is done.
